The Lebanese Cinema Movie Guide.

Well, this year we will be getting lots of scary flicks including The Apparition, Paranormal Activity 4 and House At The End Of The Street and just now a new trailer from the movie has been released which is set to open in Lebanese theaters on October 11, here is the new trailer which stars Jennifer Lawrence:

Seeking a fresh start, newly divorced Sarah (Oscar(R)-nominee Elisabeth Shue; Leaving Las Vegas, Piranha 3D) and her daughter Elissa (Oscar(R)-nominee Jennifer Lawrence; X-Men: First Class, Winter’s Bone) find the house of their dreams in a small, upscale, rural town. But when startling and unexplainable events begin to happen, Sarah and Elissa learn the town is in the shadows of a chilling secret. Years earlier, in the house next door, a daughter killed her parents in their beds, and disappeared – leaving only a brother, Ryan (Max Thieriot, My Soul to Take), as the sole survivor. Against Sarah’s wishes, Elissa begins a relationship with the reclusive Ryan – and the closer they get, the deeper they’re all pulled into a mystery more dangerous than they ever imagined.

20th Century Fox upcoming animated movie, which was previously titled Leafman, will now be titles EPIC and is set for release in theaters here in Lebanon on June 6 2013, the film will now feature a stunning voice cast which includes Beyonce, Aziz Ansari, Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson, Amanda Seyfried, Pitbull, Jason Sudeikis and Johnny Knoxville. The movie is set to be directed by Chris Wedge. This is going to be an absolutely fun 3D adventure. Here is a short synopsis: The brave good bugs march off to save the garden . . . First, they must fight the evil Spider Queen . . . Before summoning the Leaf Men to save the day . . . But what about the mystery of the Long-Lost Toy? Here is ancient elfin magic, epic adventure, and a bugle salute to the power of memory, loyalty and love as resounding as Robin Hood’s call to his Merry Men!

The first poster from the male-stripper movie have all the cast half naked, the film which was set for release in Lebanon on July 12, stars Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Matthew McConaughey, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello and Olivia Munn. Check out the new poster below:

A new trailer from Premium Rush has been released, the film was set to open last January but was pushed back to September 20, the film stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Dania Ramirez, Jamie Chung and Michael Shannon . This trailer gives us a good idea about the story, but still I don’t see any reason why people would watch a movie like this, hopefully a new trailer would be released soon having more action and stunts in it. Following the major flop of John Carter both in USA and overseas and the exist of Rich Ross, Walt Disney Studios had to find sooner or later a new Chairman and they just announced that Alan Horn former president of Warner Bros. Well we don’t usually write about TV shows and series, but now a few movies are probably going to become TV Series which is good news for everyone, Dealine reports that after the merger between Lionsgate and Summit Entertainment, the studio is looking to turn RED, The Expendables, and Step Up movies into TV Series, this is good news for fans who won’t have to wait years for movie sequel, but just a few days, but I’m not really sure how Lionsgate will manage to bring the whole expendable team together for a TV show given the A listers in the cast and how much time they will spend on the show, and I’m not really sure for how many seasons can Lionsgate stretch the project, which is the same case for RED, if things would work out this would be a good move for Lionsgate.Step Up 4 & The Expendables will release in theaters across Lebanon on August 16 while RED 2 is still in production for release later next year.
There is a lot of other movie franchise that should me bade into TV series and what I have in mind right now is: Resident Evil, Die Hard and Paranormal Activity.

A new TV Spot from The Expendables 2 has just been released and does so much work than the theatrical trailer in selling all the action in the movie which is set for release in theaters across Lebanon on August 16 with a cast that includes the likes of Jason Statham, Bruce Willis, Liam Hemsworth, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone and Jean-Claude Van Damme . Check out the TV Spot right here: Mr. Church reunites the Expendables for what should be an easy paycheck, but when one of their men is murdered on the job, their quest for revenge puts them deep in enemy territory and up against an unexpected threat.

The Summer is almost here and the movie season is about to kick some serious as*. Box office records are about to be re-broken (you know which movie I am talking about) and a great line-up of movies have already filled our calendars. Remakes, prequels, sequels, and new original adaptations will make it to the big screen and in celebration of our one year anniversary our team have selected as we did back at the beginning of the year our 10 most anticipated movies for the summer.
